she exacerbates "problems" that people are trying to avoid, heightening the effects of negative emotions in surrounding individuals, such as aggression and distress. often these emotions will be directed at her. kept at home by mother longer than most of her siblings; it's a difficult thing to control. her elder siblings don't get it as bad — time and exposure dampen the effects. so does her own listless stare. the less emotion she shows, the less she projects at anyone else. it's no fun being a brick wall, though. especially when you've got your own shitty temper.
